The Equine Clinic at OakenCroft is a full service equine veterinary practice located in the beautiful Capital Region of New York. We are a primarily ambulatory practice with clinic and haul-in facilities available. We service horses from the backyard friend to elite athletes. Our sport horse section features hunter/jumpers, dressage, eventing, fox hunting, gaited horses, Western performance and racing.

Company History

The Equine Clinic at OakenCroft was founded in 1986 by Dr. Rick Lesser and Dr. Marilyn Schmidt. The practice was grown steadily to 7 full time veterinarians and one intern veterinarian.
