Company History

Founded in 1989, Fairfield Equine Associates has developed into one of the most respected equine medical practices in the world. Over the past three decades, we have earned national and international recognition for excellence in the diagnosis and treatment of sport horses.

We are proud to have served the United States Equestrian Team at multiple Olympic Games and international competitions over the past 40 years, reflecting the trust placed in our veterinarians at the highest levels of the sport.

In November 2000, Fairfield Equine opened a state-of-the-art equine hospital in Newtown, Connecticut. With a highly trained staff and advanced technology, the hospital remains central to our ability to provide leading-edge care and support the continued growth of our practice.
