Description
CARE Veterinary Center is looking for Seasonal (Temporary) Veterinary Technicians to join our Emergency and Specialty teams as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Frederick, MD.About You
You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by supporting patients across our emergency and specialty departments during the busy summer season. Your hands-on work will range from assisting with outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests to providing essential support during admitting and discharging -- gaining valuable real-world clinical experience along the way.
This is a seasonal, temporary position designed to support our team and patients during periods of increased demand. Employment is expected to be time-limited and does not guarantee ongoing or permanent placement.

Your Experience & Skills
• Minimum 1 year experience in a veterinary setting OR currently enrolled in/recently graduated from a veterinary medicine program required
• Strong foundational technical skills with interest in expanding ER and Specialty experience
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $20 - $23 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
