Description
Animal Outpatient Specialty Network (AOSN) seeks a Veterinary Dermatologist to deliver advanced, referral-based skin and allergy care within our specialty and outpatient centers. In this medically driven, collaborative environment, you will manage complex dermatologic cases, perform diagnostics, and develop evidence-based treatment plans in partnership with referring veterinarians. AOSN offers modern facilities, multi-specialty collaboration, and strong clinical support, with robust opportunities for professional development, teaching, and leadership as we grow a leading veterinary specialty platform focused on outstanding patient outcomes.Provide advanced diagnosis and treatment for small animal dermatologic conditions, including allergies, autoimmune and infectious skin disease
Perform and interpret dermatologic diagnostics such as skin scrapings, cytology, biopsies, and intradermal/allergy testing
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners and referring veterinarians
Collaborate with specialty and outpatient teams to deliver coordinated, referral-based care
Maintain detailed medical records and contribute to development of clinical protocols and best practices
Participate in continuing education, case rounds, and teaching/mentoring of veterinary team members
Support growth of the dermatology service, including caseload development and quality improvement initiatives
Small animal dermatology
Dermatologic diagnostics (scrapings, cytology, biopsy)
Allergy testing and immunotherapy
Otology and ear disease management
Infectious and parasitic skin disease management
Dermatopathology interpretation and coordination
Anesthesia and sedation basics
Medical record documentation (EMR)
Client communication and education
Collaboration with referring veterinarians

DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school
Completion of a dermatology residency (ACVD or equivalent)
Board certification or board-eligibility in Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD or equivalent)
Active veterinary medical license in the relevant state
