South Orlando Animal Hospital is seeking to add an additional veterinarian to our team. Flexible full or part time schedules negotiable.
SOAH is a privately owned multi-doctor, full service small animal hospital. We are fully-equipped with Abaxis CBC and chemistry machines, Butterfly ultrasound, a fully stocked pharmacy, digital medical records, digital radiography and digital dental radiography and the monitoring equipment to perform a variety of surgeries including orthopedics. We see the full spectrum of small animal cases from well-pet visits to daytime emergencies and complex medical and surgical cases. The nearby emergency hospitals manage overnight emergencies and hospitalization for critical patients, and we are surrounded by a variety of specialists for referrals as needed.
We have a well-trained and stable support staff available to assist with appointments and procedures. An experienced applicant will have the client base, support staff and equipment to fully utilize their skills. New graduates will benefit from the mentoring of our doctors while improving diagnostic and surgical skills. A mentorship program could be tailored to meet the needs and comfort level of a new graduate.
Compensation includes a guaranteed salary with no negative accrual, quarterly production-based bonus, profit sharing and 401K plans, paid vacation and holidays, paid professional license and dues, CE allowance, VIN access and liability insurance. Full-time doctors typically work 16-17 full weekdays per month and a 4 hour shift every other Saturday. No after hour emergencies or Sundays.
