SmartEQ is an innovative, privately-owned ambulatory veterinary practice with a focus on equine sports medicine and reproduction. We are based in Saratoga Springs, New York, USA. Our practice works with Thoroughbreds, Standardbreds, and other performance horses, as well as pleasure horses and pets. We have a well established, fantastic client base in the surrounding area of New York, Vermont and Massachusetts. We are experienced professionals who take pride in practicing the highest quality and most up-to-date veterinary medicine and surgery, and in bringing hospital-level care to our clients’ own barns.
Reproduction Associate / Theriogenologist:
We serve several large Thoroughbred breeding farms as well as boutique breeders. We can provide training to boost your existing proficiency with routine husbandry techniques including pre- and post-foaling care, neonatology, pregnancy checks and reproductive treatments. An interest in advanced reproduction techniques would be welcome. We serve several large Thoroughbred breeding farms as well as some boutique breeders.
Equine Associate Veterinarian:
We are also hiring an additional Associate to serve our clientele with race, show, and pleasure horses for a wide variety of wellness, lameness, medical and surgical care. We are very well equipped with up-to-date diagnostic and treatment modalities. This is an opportunity to pursue your chosen specialty within our practice.
We offer a highly competitive and flexible pay and benefits package of base salary plus commission (commensurate with experience and qualifications), paid health insurance, 401(k) with profit sharing, continuing ed stipend, vehicle, phone, paid PLIT and licensing etc. After-hours duties are shared.

Our new Associates should be comfortable working independently in the field and communicating with clients, and have an interest in growing their skills as a member of a supportive professional team.
Current professional licensing in New York or ability to become licensed without further qualification is required as well as the ability to be licensed by NY Gaming.
