Veterinary Associates is a well-established, community-centered veterinary practice serving Hawai‘i Island since 1977. Based in Waimea, we provide comprehensive care across the entire island, with a balanced caseload of approximately 40% large animal and 60% small animal medicine.

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian to join our mixed animal practice. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse caseload—from companion animals to cattle, horses, and small ruminants—while enjoying a supportive team environment and an exceptional quality of life on Hawai‘i Island.
Schedule & Work-Life Balance

- Rotating on-call schedule

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical, surgical, and preventive care to both small and large animals both in clinic and on outcalls.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
Perform herd health services, including reproductive work and consultation for local ranchers
Maintain accurate medical records and communicate clearly with clients
Collaborate with a team of veterinarians and support staff to deliver high-quality care
Participate in emergency and after-hours care on a rotating basis
