Old Dominion Animal Hospital is seeking a full or part-time associate veterinarian at our Charlottesville location. Located in the heart of downtown our Charlottesville office services small animal’s wellness, sick and emergent needs Monday through Friday. Our hospital provides modern equipment including digital x-rays, in-house IDEXX laboratory, therapeutic laser, surgical laser, and ultrasound to provide our clients with personal, professional and passionate care. We work as a team to find the right diagnosis for our patients and focus on our client communication to make lasting bonds.
The ideal candidate will combine their advanced medical expertise (preferably 2+ years) with empathy and compassion. A veterinarian who is adept at surgery and dentistry is a bonus. Old Dominion Animal Hospital offers many benefits for our veterinarians, including no Saturday work days, generous continuing education stipends, and payment of annual licensing/membership fees. Veterinarians at Old Dominion Animal Hospital can anticipate a starting salary of six figures, if working full-time. We schedule our doctors on a four-day-a-week schedule, working 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Requirements
DVM License in the state of Virginia, preferred 2+ year experience; but also have trained many new graduates over the years.
DEA optional
Surgical and Dental experience preferred but not required. We perform surgeries from: spay/neuter, splenectomies, foreign body, cystotomies, mass removals, eye enucleations, cosmetic surgeries(vuvloplasy and entropion), oral mass removals, and full mouth extractions in cats/dogs.
