Boone Veterinary Hospital is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our amazing team. We provide exceptional medicine and surgery in a fully equipped state of the art building that includes digital radiography, Vimago imaging (CT), ultrasound, in-house lab and pharmacy, stem cell therapy capabilities, and rehabilitation including an underwater treadmill and shockwave machine. Our long term, hardworking staff are energetic, passionate, caring, and a large part of our success in the community.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical examinations for wellness appointments
- Diagnose injuries and/or illnesses and prepare and follow through with treatment plans
- Educate clients on preventive recommendations, proper care and nutrition of their pets
- Routine surgical skills
- Handle daytime emergency cases
- Document cases with complete medical records

Our veterinarians work 4 days week and rotate Saturday mornings. After hours emergencies are referred to ISU or Blue Pearl.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
- Iowa License
- Eligible for DEA License
