Who We Are

We're an independent, female-owned practice in Mount Dora, FL, built on a simple idea: that exceptional veterinary care and an exceptional team culture aren't mutually exclusive. Our co-owner and dedicated business manager, Kristine McCormick, has spoken at the VHMA National Conference and led multiple webinars on team culture — because building a workplace where people actually want to show up isn't a perk here, it's a priority. Paired with our Medical Director, Dr. Susana, whose surgical expertise and passion for teaching set the tone for how we practice, you'll find a leadership team that's invested in both the medicine and the people behind it.

About Our Practice

This is a small, growing practice with big capabilities. Our surgical suite and diagnostic toolkit include laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, and advanced imaging, and we regularly perform procedures like laparoscopic assisted gastropexies and other complex surgeries that many general practices refer out. Dr. Susana loves to teach, so whether you're looking to sharpen your surgical skills or expand into new procedures, you'll have a mentor who's genuinely excited to help you grow. Prefer to focus on internal medicine? We can back up even the most challenging cases with excellent diagnostics and surgical support. We aim to put our associates where their strengths are, and grow as a team.

We also work closely with several rescues including a wildlife rescue-it's very important to us to give back to our local community.

We're currently open Monday through Friday, 7 am – 6 pm, and Saturdays, 8 am – 1 pm, with plans to expand as we grow. We're looking for a veterinarian who's energized by that growth — someone who sees a practice on the rise and wants to be part of shaping what it becomes.
