Grady Veterinary Hospital is a full service, 24 hour emergency, specialty, and general practice hospital serving the Greater Cincinnati region. We are seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our fast paced , dynamic GP and ER department s . This department is ideal for technicians who are eager to expand their skillset, collaborate across hospital teams, and play an integral role in patient care .

Grady Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio

Salary: $25-32/ hr ( based on experience)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Provide compassionate care to pet patients and their loved ones
• Perform triage and initial interventions with emergency patients
• Conducts basic examinations to assess stability.
• Perform advanced nursing skills, including CPR, Phlebotomy, Cystocentesis, lab tests and various medication administration
• Administer and monitor sedated patients for minor procedures as well as advanced anesthetic skills for emergency surgery
• Assist DVM in scheduled GP appointments and walk -in appointments
• Schedule: 8/10/12 hours for evening and night shifts

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Veterinary Technician Certification required ( RVT )
• Minimum two years of prior veterinary hospital experience required, surgical experience not required but must be willing to train
• Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
