Experience & Skills Requirements:

• Veterinary Assistant experience preferred
• Basic accurate and professional medical record-keeping: searching for patients, creating appointments, updating clinical records
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic medications and uses for both injectable and oral medications
• Ability to obtain patient vitals - recognize abnormalities in pulse, respirations, temperature, and capillary refill time
• Basic understanding of venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Set up IV fluid therapy and understand basic differences in types of fluids

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with an hourly pay rate starting at $20-22 hour. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
