Greenhills Veterinary Hospital is a well-established small animal practice located in East Maitland in the heart of the Hunter Valley. The region is charming with a rich history, emerging food scene, thriving arts community, boutique accommodation and packed events calendar. You'll find all this just two hours from Sydney or 40min from Newcastle. The beautiful beaches and national parks of Port Stephens is only a 50-minute drive from the clinic.

We are currently seeking an experienced full-time or part-time Veterinarian with a minimum of 1+ years in a small animal veterinary medicine practice to join our team.

The Benefits

• Flexible working arrangements -full-time or part-time. If your preference is full-time, this can be worked over either 4 or 5 days.
• An actual work life balance – health and family come first, there are no on-call duties.  You will not be contacted outside of work hours!  The hospital is open Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 6 pm and rostered for 1 in 4 Saturdays 8am to 12pm.
• SUFFICIENT CONSULTING TIMES - time set aside to complete notes and call-backs, and allocated lunch breaks.
• A positive, supportive and inclusive team – you will be part of the Greenhills family.   The Hospital is well-supported by a team of nurses, with 4-5 nurses rostered on each day, a practice manager and dedicated customer service representatives. You also have the support of our Veterinary Director who has 12 years clinical experience as a veterinarian and 20+ years of industry experience who is focused on your ongoing education and growth as a veterinary professional.
• The practice is purpose-built and well-equipped with in-house bloods, digital x-ray, cold laser therapy, ultrasound and IM3 dental equipment, including dental radiology which our nurses are trained in getting high quality images efficiently.
• Competitive and above award salary package- $90,000-$130,000 depending on hours rostered and experience level.
• Ongoing training and development, CE allowance of $2000 and one week's study leave per year.

If you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills who works well in a team, are a great problem solver with high attention to detail and good time management, we would love to hear from you now. Twelve months or more post qualification experience preferred.
