Description

Bristol Veterinary Service is a 50+ year old privately owned and well-established equine ambulatory practice looking for a full time or part time associate equine veterinarian.  We are located in southeastern Wisconsin with approximately 50% of our practice extending into northeastern Illinois and are located within two hours of several referral clinics.  Our clientele includes everything from weekend pleasure horses to professional level sport horses.  

Our primary focus is on preventative wellness, lameness, general medicine, and reproductive services which includes endoscope/gastroscope, digital radiography and ultrasound, and shockwave.  Laptop, cell phone, vehicle, and other equipment supplied by practice.  

Requirements

We are looking for a full time or part time associate equine veterinarian with a DVM or equivalent degree and eligibility for licensure in Wisconsin and Illinois. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, enjoys working with a wide range of horses and owners, and is enthusiastic about providing the excellent client service and medical care our clients are accustomed to.  Emergency service coverage is required, shared, and compensated separately.

Work schedule is flexible to support work/life balance.  Option for after hours exclusive emergency work is also available.
